There is always a dream world in my
mind to decorate every moment in my life and make me want to capture everything
in my art. That is why I like to use dream-like surreal designs to suggest
notions of sweetness, calmness and safety. While raising two beautiful kids, I
found myself painting more subjects that are related to children, which also
brought me back to my own childhood. The happiness in their smiles, voices and
actions became my main inspiration for this collection and I wanted to remember
that we were all happy children once.

50-50 art show
I have collaborated with Kathy Dodge and created our 50-50 art show. The exhibition starts on August 24, 2012 and runs until September 30, 2012 at Sanchez Art Center in Pacifica, CA. Here are my 25 pieces, each piece is 6 x 6 inches, Acrylic on MDF board.
All the pieces are for sale in the 50-50 art show. Each costs $75 and 10% discount when you buy 2 or more. 30% of it goes to Sanchez Art Center for fund-raising. I was told that I can do pre-sale and sales online as well, so if you are interested, please contact me at wei.zhou.b@gmail.com.
